PUSH HANDS: Is a 2 person exercise unique to the Chinese Internal Martial arts and especially Tai Chi. It is used to practice the structure and principles developed during form practice. As a partner exercise, it is practised softly without any concern for winning or losing. Push Hands help show us how to use the essential energies of Tai Chi. How to understand and move the body in a way that follows the intention of the mind, to understand energy flow both in ourselves and in others, developing  sensitivity and martial usage. We learn to sense the intention of our opponent in a natural non reactive way. To help learn to use soft energy to overcome the hard, to be like water.
