Tai Chi with its slow graceful movements can be an oasis from the everyday world, a place to relax and let go. A
short 15 minute practice can help center the mind before returning to more worldly concerns. It invigorates the
body mind and spirit so you have more energy when it is needed. Tai Chi is many different things to different
people. As a practice you can do it at your own pace. Some focus on it as a form of moving meditation, while
others practice it as low impact movements that exercise the whole body. Still others practice it to de-stress after
a long days work and some who have practiced for a long time use it as a highly effective martial art that
emphasizes using no physical strength. These reasons don’t even begin to get at the depth of Tai Chi. When you
start to practice Tai Chi it is the beginning of a life long journey....... No special equipment or athletic ability is
required, just a willingness to learn, grow, become healthier, relaxed and more in tune with yourself and nature.
